Landmarks

Britain is punctuated by some of the most iconic landmarks in the world: great architectural triumphs, monuments, geographical features and industrial sites. In this book 300 are shown: most are familiar but some, like the Crystal Palace, exist now only in photographs; some, like St Paul's Cathedral surrounded by a Blitzed London, are seen in an unfamiliar context; some, such as the Angel of the North, are new while others, such as Stonehenge, pre-date history.
